Btw,zero,i bet your pc always lag cos is lesser than 1gb,vista need atleast 1gb RAM to run smoothly. Oh btw,i edited mine.

Not really, it lags only when I have more than 6 windows open.

My only real problem with Vista is the lack of Hansmaster support. How am I supposed to get my assignments done?

Why is there a real need for dictionaries in getting the assignments done?

Yeah, I guess. Well you need to switch from XP to Vista within these next few years so why not do it now. Well I had some money at the time so I just went and ordered it online.

Well Vista eats up my memory and stuff too. It really sucks, but it's getting better.

or even other open source OSs - Solaris, FreeBSD, etc..

You should also do one of those "virtual systems" to test out other OS's. They seem pretty useful! xD

Yea but this laptop is pretty old and work-specific machine, while the PC at home is for all my siblings, so I rather not do anything to these two machines.
